About FAST TRACK

FastTrack is an acceleration program for women-led businesses looking to access new markets, access financing opportunities, and connect with a global community of entrepreneurs who collaborate and generate positive impacts in their communities and businesses.

Goals

FastTrack aims to accelerate 24 women-led businesses with the potential to generate USD 3 million in revenue over the next 5 years:

  • Accelerate women-led SMEs in Central America and the Dominican Republic.
  • Access to new markets in the region.
  • Funding and investment opportunities.

Who can apply?

  • Female entrepreneurs from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and the Dominican Republic

  • Entrepreneurs with more than two years of business operations

  • Entrepreneurs with at least two or more workers.

  • Entrepreneurs who are currently selling and have a plan for growth and expansion.

Program phases

The first phase is recruitment. In this phase, the applications for the program will be opened for 1 month in the 8 participating countries through an online application form. The call for applications will be done through Impact Hubs
and strategic partners and we will select 24 companies.

The second phase is the “Fast Track” training. This acceleration program starts with a business diagnostic to identify the entrepreneurs’ primary needs and challenges.
Then, entrepreneurs will receive a fixed number of workshops focused on Business Acceleration, New Market Access, and Scaling. At the end of phase 2, the entrepreneurs will access specialized business support via mentoring, business clinics, networking activities, and the development of corporate partnerships.

Phase 3 will focus on financing and investment. Entrepreneurs will receive workshops about investment readiness and access to capital.
Top performing businesses will have the opportunity to participate in the Regional Investment Connect (RIC) 2022 – an event to connect entrepreneurs with investment opportunities.
At the end of the program, Best performance businesses will be able to apply for financing through different financing vehicles presented throughout the program
